Awwwww! It's Carol! I love this segment, too. I'm from Denver and I love that she is a postal worker from Denver. When I am feeling particularly ornery and Amuuurican, I put on my heaviest "Carol Accent" when speaking French -- that's what I call it. And what she has to say about Paris is precious. What a great movie, and this is definitely one of the more touching segments. Thanks for posting it. :)
Hello Rebecca. I'm Italian, I live in Paris since 1 year and I discovered your blog since the first few days here, when I still didn't know anything about town.
I have very mixed feelings about living in Paris, which I picked as a possible place to "re-start" my life after having lost my job at Lehman Brothes and many other things in Milan.
It would be nice to have the relationship Carol has with Paris - corresponded love. For me the relationship is a complicated one.
